Fall season doesn’t mean we have to put away our sunglasses just yet. Let us introduce you to our latest collection, Televisioni. The collection was inspired by the architectural and fashion designs of the 1950s. The iconic concave details and beveled features reminiscent of all things retro, from televisions to automotive construction, make this collection a classic combination of larger-than-life design and mid-century chic. Included in the collection are five eye-catching frames, each available in two colourways. We’ve put together some of our favourite ways to wear the Televisioni collection, just in time for sweater weather.

THE BILLY FRAME

These larger frames are perfect for those days where you want to bring a bit more “oomph” to your outfit without going overboard. Here, we’ve styled the Billy frame in two different ways.

CARLYLE: For those warmer fall days, you can always count on a classic button up shirt, a pair of easy cargo pants, and your favourite pair of white sneakers. Here, Carlyle styled his Billy’s in Smokey Leopard Tort with neutral fall hues, like khaki green and beige, accented with his favourite white Chucks and gold accessories. When in doubt, pairing your favourite autumnal colours with white details helps bring harmony to any outfit!

CAMILA: We love Camila’s look, perfect for a casual day of running errands while still looking chic. The Billy’s in Black work great with a black utilitarian cropped jacket and sleek leather boots, as it draws the whole look together. Camila pairs this understated combo with a pair of light-wash denim jeans and minimal accessories, like this black clutch.

THE LAYLA FRAME

The larger-than-life Layla frames are a certain attention-grabber. They come in Antique Tort as well as one of our personal favourites, Ivory. Reminiscent of the television sets found in the 1950s, these are a sure-fire way to bring a bit more drama to any outfit. Here’s how we styled them.

JAROMIR: Pairing a pant or jacket in the same colourway as your accessories is a great way to incorporate them into an outfit. Jaromir is wearing the Layla’s in Ivory with a pair of painter’s pants in a similar colour to tie the whole look together. He’s also coordinated the warm undertone of the sunglasses with his shoes and crewneck sweater - bonus! Throw on a lightweight jacket and you’re ready for the weekend.

KENZIE: We really wanted the Antique Tort colourway of the Layla’s to shine with this outfit. Kenzie kept her outfit minimal and monochromatic by wearing all black with a pop. A pair of crisp white sneakers keeps the whole look chic and comfortable. She’s kept the look cool and effortless with a black T-shirt, comfortable drawstring pants and a stylish leather jacket to keep her warm.

THE KURT FRAME

A boxy ode to Kurt Cobain’s iconic style, the Kurt’s are a must-have to any 90s lover’s wardrobe.

JAROMIR: We paired the Kurt in black with a matching black turtleneck for those chilly fall days together with a pair of dark navy painter’s pants. Toss on your favourite cold weather jacket and athletic sneakers to give your look a casual vibe. We took inspiration from Kurt Cobain’s no fuss style and amped it up in a modern way.

LYLE: For those living in a warm autumn climate, you’ve got plenty of options to play with. Here we styled the Kurt in Ivory with a low-neck white t-shirt, navy single breasted blazer and matching drawstring shorts. We love the school boy vibes this outfit gives; the sporty high socks and Doc Martens really bring the whole look together. Keeping the accessories minimal really make the Kurt frame the main focus.

THE JESSIE FRAME

Who doesn’t love a pair of cat eye sunglasses? We pay homage to the popularization of this classic style in the 1950s with the Jessie’s.

KENZIE: We’ve taken the foolproof combination of blue jeans and white shirt and elevated it by incorporating a white collared blouse, and a structured double-breasted coat in a complimentary colour, like this heather grey Kenzie is sporting. Tie the whole look together by incorporating a pair of streamline Chelsea boots, and of course a pair of statement sunglasses like the Jessie’s in Ivory, to keep you protected from those sun rays while looking stylish all day long.

GABBY: For this look, we wanted to coordinate the colours of the Jessie frames with the rest of the outfit. Gabby is wearing an oversized black shirtdress and rugged black boots as a base. Layer on an oversized wool trench coat and a floppy felt hat to keep those windy days bearable and you’re good to go. This minimal outfit is great for those who are looking for an alternative to pants or trousers in the cooler autumn months.

THE ISLA FRAME

We love the drama that the Isla frames bring to any outfit. Their bold, geometric shape takes inspiration from the retro and classic style of the 1950s and we’re excited to show you how we style these!

CAMILA: Camila pairs her Isla’s in Smokey Leopard Tort with a cozy cream-coloured sweater, black wide-leg jeans, comfortable black slides and water repellant balmacaan and beanie for any surprises Mother Nature may throw at us. Pair the whole look with a classic shoulder bag and you’re all set for a day out in the city.

GABBY: You can never go wrong with an all-black monochromatic outfit. Here, Gabby styles her all black Isla’s with a pleated black skirt, black ribbed turtleneck, and a leather biker jacket. Layering for the colder seasons is essential and doesn't have to be fussy. Coordinate your look with a pair of matching leather ankle boots and your go-to fall monochromatic look is complete!
