Neighborhood Guide: Main Street Vancouver

Publié par le

If you haven't heard, we recently opened up our fifth Vancouver location on Main Street! We wanted to give you a compact guide to one of our favourite neighbourhoods. Whether you’re in the area for a quick bite to eat, a shopping day or a night out on the town, Main Street’s effortlessly cool strip has it all. Its collective of quirky cafés, thoughtfully curated shops and some of Vancouver’s best restaurants will have you falling in love with the neighbourhood. Take a stroll with the Bailey Nelson Team as we take you to our favourite spots!

33 Acres Brewing Co. & 33 Acres Exp.

33 Acres Brewing is home to some of Vancouver’s best craft beers and the most Instagram worthy spaces. The minimalistic and airy aesthetic is nothing short of inviting and beautiful. Their rotating beer list consists of staples like 33 Acres of Life all the way to their experimental brews like a Farmhouse Dry Hopped IPA and more. There’s something for everyone to enjoy. We also love the selection of wood fired pizzas, brunch items and snacks, AND the space is kid friendly!

The Shameful Tiki Room

This little slice of paradise is a must. It’s dimly lit with no visible windows to the outside light so you’ll be fully immersed in the vintage tiki experience. You can sip on some exotic classic cocktails like The Zombie, while enjoying the Go-Go Bungalow dance party (every Wednesday and Sunday). Open seven days a week from 5pm until late, you can escape to paradise anytime, and you can’t forget about The Mystery Bowl - it’s a must!

Their menu changes with the season focusing on plant forward and vegan fare with each dish crafted to perfection. Their bar program is also some of the best in the city and features some exceptionally creative cocktails. The Acorn will satisfy even the pickiest meat-atarians.
